The 200 medley relay (Matt Pedersen, Cole Truitt, Jake Ogden & Peter Lam) placed 16th with a time of 1:50.39. Meet Recap

The girls are finally getting healthy and their swim times and dive scores proved it. Many of the ladies posted PR’s in their closest meet of the season. Sophomore Jenna Rybarczyk, Sophomore Jordan Sieglitz and Captain Jerrika Wade went 1-2-3 in the dive event. Great sweep and the pool look super clean. Junior Abby Baker took 1st in the 200 free. Senior Alyssa Stookey claimed the fastest woman in the pool title with her win in the 50 free. Captain Kelly Chuch showed her dominance in the 500 free by winning with a margin of over a minute and a half. That gave her time to compete in the latest “Minute to Win It” game show where she came up a little short of winning the grand prize. Kelly also won the 100 back. The Relay team of Freshman Kara Church, Kelly Church, Abby Baker and Captain Holli Johnson took 1st in the 400 free relay. It was a great way to finish the meet.
Captain Mandy Spartz competed in the IronWoman event for the last time in her high school career and will go pro traveling the world competing in IronWoman swim meets starting in the summer of 2017. Good luck and we’ll be watching your career on ESPN “The Ocho”.
