CROSS COUNTRY – HEAD COACH

Prior to coaching, he ran track at Arizona State University, Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) and Mountain Ridge High School. He is an Arizona 4x800m Relay State Champion (2004) and finished 6th in the open 800m (1:57.54, 2004). While at PVCC, he qualified for the Indoor and Outdoor NJCAA Nationals Meet in the 800m and had a personal best of 1:54.71.

Before coming to Mountain Ridge, Coach Moses coached at Veritas Preparatory Academy. In his time there, the girl’s cross-country team finished 4th (2016) at the AIA Division IV State Championships and finished 5th (2016) and 7th (2017) at the Track & Field State Championship Meet. He coached an individual Track & Field 3-time state champion in the 800m, 1600m and 3200m, a 2-time runner-up in the 1600m and 3200m and a runner-up 4x800m relay team.

In his first-year as an Assistant Coach at Mountain Ridge, both the boy’s and girl’s cross-country teams finished 8th (2018) at the AIA Division I State Championships. They had one boy (8th) and one girl (20th) finish on the podium at the State Championship Meet.

Coach Moses and his lovely wife Jenny have been married for 10 years and live in Glendale, Arizona with their beautiful children, Monica, Madilynn and Maximus.
